Celebrating the Power of Women and Feminine Energy

Every year on March 8th, we celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD)—a day to honor the incredible women who shape our world, recognize the importance of gender equality, and embrace the unique power of femininity. While equal rights in education, pay, and leadership are essential, true evolution in humanity cannot happen without the influence of feminine energy—the power to create beauty, balance, and harmony in life.

The History Behind International Women’s Day

The roots of IWD trace back to women fighting for their rights in the early 20th century, standing up for better working conditions, fair pay, and the right to vote.

  • 1908 – 15,000 women marched through New York City, demanding better wages, shorter hours, and voting rights.

  • 1909 – The first National Women’s Day was observed in the U.S.

  • 1910 – German activist Clara Zetkin proposed the idea of a global women’s day at an international conference.

  • 1911 – The first official International Women’s Day was celebrated in Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland.

  • 1913-1917 – The date was moved to March 8th, and Russian women played a crucial role in pushing for change.

  • 1977 – The United Nations recognized March 8th as International Women’s Day.

Since then, IWD has grown into a worldwide celebration of women’s achievements, resilience, and the undeniable value they bring to society.

Why International Women’s Day Matters

1. Honoring Women’s Achievements

Women have contributed immensely to every field—science, art, politics, business, and beyond. This day is about celebrating the ones who have paved the way and the ones who continue to make history.

2. Recognizing the Power of Feminine Energy

Women bring more than just productivity and leadership to the world—we bring intuition, creativity, compassion, and the ability to nurture and inspire.

  • A mother’s gentle wisdom shapes future generations.

  • A woman’s ability to listen, heal, and connect creates harmony in families and communities.

  • The art, beauty, and creativity that women contribute to the world bring inspiration and depth to life.

  • Women’s natural ability to multitask, balance, and adapt ensures that life flows with grace and resilience.

Celebrating feminine power isn’t about competition—it’s about recognizing that a world without it would lack warmth, love, and the essence of life itself.

3. Equal Rights, Without Losing Ourselves

Yes, women deserve equal opportunities in education, fair pay, and leadership roles. Our voices deserve to be heard. But in the pursuit of equality, we must not feel pressured to become like men to succeed. Our feminine essence—our softness, emotional intelligence, and ability to lead with heart—is our strength, not a weakness.

Looking Forward

International Women’s Day isn’t just about progress—it’s about honoring what makes women unique. Strength isn’t just in power; it’s in grace. Leadership isn’t just in authority; it’s in wisdom. The world needs feminine energy to evolve—to create, to nurture, to inspire.

So today, and every day, let’s celebrate the women who lead with love, the ones who create beauty in the world, and the ones who embrace their true, authentic selves.

Happy International Women’s Day!

Love & Light
